“I love the puzzle logic of financial planning and always wanted to be in a helping profession,” Kristin says when asked why she chose to become a financial planner. “Financial planning allows me to hear so many wonderful life stories and support people while they write these stories.”
Kristin found her way to Verus Financial Partners as a summer intern in 2018, and we enthusiastically hired her full-time after she graduated from Virginia Tech. At Virginia Tech, she found time to hold leadership roles and volunteer with various organizations, so her servant’s heart and drive fit perfectly with our culture.
Now, Kristin serves as a senior financial planner in Richmond, VA. She both assists advisers with complex client issues and also serves as a primary adviser. Her desire to help is pervasive as she sits on committees at Verus and in her role as the Central Virginia FPA chapter Chairwoman. Her warmth and whimsical nature make her fun as well as highly competent.
Kristin grew up in Salem, Virginia, and this country mouse now resides in Richmond with two tabby cat babies, Peanut and Hazelnut. In her free time, you can find Kristin dancing salsa and bachata, hiking with friends, or exploring the Richmond food scene.
